Rehearsals and Popsicle- Stick Snowflakes

Hey, everyone! I just got back from BBB (Bye Bye Birdie) rehearsal! Today was a pretty busy day, and I know that it's only the beginning. Scary! So right after school, I went to "Adopt a Grandparent," which is a group that goes to visit old folks in a nursing home. I go there every Wednesday. It's not exactly my favorite thing to do (it's pretty depressing there) but I like knowing that I'm helping someone out. Well, we usually make simple little crafts- and this time we made snowflakes out of popsicle sticks and decorated them with buttons. While helping my lady out I made some of my own. The results:

Fabulous, I know. I'm looking into becoming a professional popsicle snowflake maker.

So anyway, about rehearsal. Before we started, I was going to ask If I could miss two nights to do the performance at my school, but then all the other girls started talking about how they had to miss their school's performances for this. Obviously, I kept my mouth shut. It's a bummer because the drama teacher always gives the main roles to 8th graders. OH WELL. (idk how I'm gunna break it to my drama teacher.)
The rehearsal was three hours long. And let me tell you, after three straight hours of singing, you start to get a one massive headache, man. The entire time, we worked on "Telephone Hour." That is one complicated song! But unlike school shows, where everyone who auditioned gets in, everyone is actually really good. There are 5 other teen girls and 3 teen boys. I'm the youngest one! I have to say, it sounds pretty great with everyone singing together. I'm happy. AND! I get a solo! YAY! I get to sing Penelope's part:
.
"Is it true about Kim?
I just knew it some how!
I must call her right up,
I can't talk to you now!"
.
WOOHOO! I can't wait to go to rehearsal again. It was lots of fun!
