Hello everyone! Okay, I know I'm a complete loser, but I just had to see the Clique movie after reading the first 5 books in the series. I have mixed reviews about this one.It was nice to see memorable scenes from the first book, even if they were a little overdone and cheesy.
Massie was the worst part. This girl who played her couldn't act to save her life. It was verging on painful in some scenes. As the leading female, I expected her to be much more believable. The other characters weren't half as bad. I really liked Claire. She was very true-to-character and was exacty like I imagined her. Some other things that bothered me were obvious inaccuracies. Dylan is supposed to be fat (even in the movie) but the actress who plays her is nowhere close to that.
However, one thing I really enjoyed was the clothes. The Pretty Committee is known for their amazing clothes, and in this aspect, the movie did not disappoint!
So overall, it was not the best movie, but if you've read any of the Clique books, I recommend seeing it.
