Talent Show

Well, my school's talent show was tonight, and although I wanted desperately to perform in it, I had already missed too much of tennis to go to rehearsals and such.
But anyways, some of my friends performed, and they did absolutely amazing! Here's some wonderful shots that I attempted to take with my phone. Enjoy!

The Clique Movie Review

Hello everyone! Okay, I know I'm a complete loser, but I just had to see the Clique movie after reading the first 5 books in the series. I have mixed reviews about this one.
It was nice to see memorable scenes from the first book, even if they were a little overdone and cheesy.
Massie was the worst part. This girl who played her couldn't act to save her life. It was verging on painful in some scenes. As the leading female, I expected her to be much more believable. The other characters weren't half as bad. I really liked Claire. She was very true-to-character and was exacty like I imagined her. Some other things that bothered me were obvious inaccuracies. Dylan is supposed to be fat (even in the movie) but the actress who plays her is nowhere close to that.
However, one thing I really enjoyed was the clothes. The Pretty Committee is known for their amazing clothes, and in this aspect, the movie did not disappoint!
So overall, it was not the best movie, but if you've read any of the Clique books, I recommend seeing it.

Too Bad for Lammy

Wednesday was a dark day in the history of America. ADAM LAMBERT lost American Idol. The country is still in shock, as am I. I spent the rest of Wednesday night yelling at the television. America got this one seriously wrong. You don't hear a voice like Adam's every day.
But other than the principle that the obviously better singer didn't win (AND THAT AMERICA STILL WON'T ACCEPT DIVERSITY!!!), I'm glad that things worked the way that they did. Adam's definitely gotten the exposure, but he isn't tied down by the American Idol contract. So that means that he can do whatever he wants, and he isn't stuck with that wonderful "No Boundaries" song. So, all in all, he's in a good position. I can't wait for his album- expect millions of copies sold!

Hello everyone! I just got back from TENNIS PRACTICE!!! Yes, the doctor said I was all good to play again. I'm so excited- it feels great to be playing again. I have 4 weeks left and I'm gunna totally make the best out of it!

Good news??? Hopefully! I'm going to the doctor early tomorrow morning to get the okay to play tennis again. If all goes well, I can finally play tomorrow(with a brace of course)!!! It's been four flipping weeks since my injury, and if I miss out any longer, I think I'll just die of boredom. Heck, I'm even missing the school talent show so I have as much time as possible to play. THAT'S DEDICATION, BABY! Sooooo.... here's hoping that everything turns out good!

Major NY trip news today! We finally got to pick our roomates! Thankfully, I'm rooming with friends Taylor, Hannah T. and Colby. Should be fun! We also found out the Broadway show we're going to see. It's called "In the Hights." FLIP!!! Omg I had my heart set on "Wicked." Ughh. Well, I'm sure it'll still be wonderful. It is Broadway, after all.
